We all have things in common with one another. This could be hobbies, interests, beliefs, passions, favorite flavor of ice cream ... you get the idea.
Among all of these similarities, there is one thing that every single one of us sympathizes with and tries desperately to hold onto. That one thing is youth.
Not physical youth, but youth in spirit. Our youth and childhood is a moment in time so unique, so special, so bizarre; and it happens so fast that once we're out of it, we feel like we never truly grabbed a hold of it while we were in it. We look back on it like we would an old friend. But it doesn't necessarily have to be this way.
There are elements of youth that we can hold on to forever. The moments of carelessness. The ability to make mistakes and move on. The capability of showing emotions. The desire to learn something new. The curiosity to try something new. The wherewithal to see a stranger as a friend. The propensity of acting on impulse. The innocence of it all. The wonder of it all. The magic of it all.
This is the foundation of The Moondivers.
Formerly Northern Whale and hailing from Ohio, The Moondivers are Jake Capezzuto, Brandon Fisher, Scott Davis, Seth Donchess, Mike Mitchum and Ryan Betts.
Armed with nothing but ideas, instruments, and dancing bodies, The Moondivers aim to bring out the inner youth in all of us and ALWAYS hold on to the magic.
